TopoQuest provides free access to USGS topographic maps at multiple scales (1:24K, 1:100K, 1:250K), Canadian 1:50K topographic maps, and 1-meter resolution aerial/satellite imagery. The site has been online since 2008 and is integrated with Wikipedia via GeoHack coordinate links.
